World of Tanks Blitz is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Since its launch as a mobile-only game with eight maps and three tank nations, the game has evolved into a successful AAA title that is now available on multiple platforms including macOS, Windows 10, Steam and Nintendo Switch. This expansion has created an extensive cross-play and cross-progression ecosystem that excites tank lovers worldwide.

The game has seen continuous growth over the years. Summer full of anniversary events

To celebrate its tenth birthday, World of Tanks Blitz has planned a summer full of in-game festivities. A special birthday event kicked off in June, where players can win brand new Tier VIII and popular Tier X tanks. In addition, a special celebration container with the Blasteroid tank, a themed avatar and a profile background will be available until June 30.

In July, players can expect a space-themed party, including the "Objective: Sheridan Missile" event that brings back the Sheridan missile tank. A special collaboration with a world-famous sci-fi film franchise is also announced, extending the celebrations into the cosmos.

In August, the player-favorite Mad Games event returns for ten days, accompanied by the highly anticipated Seniority Awards. To round off the celebrations, tank drivers can look forward to a secret, epic gift that will bring a decade of virtual tank battles to a worthy close.

World of Tanks Blitz is planning a special surprise especially for the German community: As part of the birthday celebrations, well-known German influencers will stream the game in teams of two and collect points together with their community. Participants can win various in-game goodies. A final tournament will then take place in August in which all teams will compete against each other.
