Sword Wars is a free browser game and strategy game set in the Middle Ages. Each player starts with a single province from which the aim is to build a powerful kingdom.

The Middle Ages is a warlike time. Sword Wars is not just about building strategy. It is also about competing with other players and determining who is worthy of the royal crown in epic battles with enormous strategic depth.

The aim of this browser game is to use a successful strategy to build a huge empire from the province you start with and then lay claim to kingship. As is typical of browser games, the first step is to build up your empire in the Middle Ages. Then battles have to be fought to conquer the kingdoms of other players and become the most powerful king.
