Forge of Empires is a browser-based strategy game that lets you create your very own city and guide it through the centuries from the beginning of the Stone Age. Research new technologies and build epoch-making structures.
Satisfy the inhabitants of your city and create a thriving metropolis. Expand your sphere of power through campaigns and skillful trading. With a powerful army and the right tactics, you can subdue your enemies and forge a mighty empire.

Features:

Town building: You take over a Stone Age village and control its development over different eras of human history. Residential and production buildings are researched and your city grows. Make sure you provide for your population and strive to keep them happy. With the help of rare resources, you can create unique buildings that will impressively shape your cityscape.

Research: You research a host of unique technologies and move your city through different eras. Unlock new buildings through research that give you access to resources, population, additional units, rare goods and special buildings.

Progress through the ages: Starting in the Stone Age, you research building types and technologies to advance your settlement to the next age. This not only gives you access to more resources and stronger military units: Period-specific building styles also make the progress of your flourishing city visible.

Battle: In the course of the campaign, you can conquer enemy provinces with your army. The battles are turn-based and take place on a hex. Skillful strategists will be able to win by exploiting the strengths and weaknesses of their troops and the nature of the terrain.

PvP: Once you have learned the strategic intricacies of turn-based battles, you can of course also try them out against a human opponent. Initially, the focus will be on 1v1 duels, but further conflict-oriented game content is planned for the future.

Campaign: Forge of Empires offers a fully-fledged campaign in the course of which your city will develop and prosper. You can also expand your sphere of power by liberating province after province from barbarian chieftains and tyrants to become the ruler of an entire continent.
