Seek & Destroy Update: New missile types and detailed cockpits
06/20/2024 - The latest update for War Thunder, "Seek & Destroy", expands the game with numerous new military vehicles, improves the damage mechanics and adds new missile types.
At the center of the update are the new FOX-3 missiles, which are now available for all nations represented in the game. These new air-to-air missiles with active radar are a significant addition to aerial combat and offer players new tactical options.
In addition, dozens of new military vehicles have been introduced to the game. Detailed cockpits and new models
The update also brings detailed cockpits for over a dozen helicopters. In addition, the models of the crews of numerous vehicles and aircraft have been revised. These include the crews of German armored vehicles from the Second World War, Soviet tank crews from the post-war period and the pilots of modern fighter planes such as the A-10 and the F-14, F-16, F-15, J-11, MiG-29, Su-27 and Yak-141 fighter planes.
New ships and vehicles
With the "Seek & Destroy" update, War Thunder also receives significant expansions in the area of naval vehicles. The British battlecruiser HMS Queen Mary and the French torpedo boat VLT-2 are just two of the new ships that have been added to the game. The VLT-2 in particular is of historical significance, as it is the first representative of the French coastal defense fleet in War Thunder.
