03/20/2023 - The nominees for the German Computer Game Prize 2023 (DCP) have been announced. On March 16 and 17, 2023, the jury selected the best games of the year from numerous submissions. 27 different games and prototypes are in the running.

The show will also be broadcast live via the Internet. Presenter Katrin Bauerfeind and entertainer Uke Bosse will lead through the award ceremony. The organizers of the award are the German government, represented by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, and the game - Association of the German Games Industry.
On March 16 and 17, 2023, the DCP main jury met at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection in Berlin. The 35-member main jury is composed of experts from the games industry, science, culture, media and politics. This year, for the first time, the jury was chaired by Mareike Ottrand, Professor of Interactive Illustration and Games at HAW Hamburg. The full list of jury members is available here.
