Tortuga's ninja and new medals: The highlights of the April update

04/07/2025 - The April update of World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends has exciting new features in store. Players can look forward to new ships, medals, a temporary game mode and even the iconic Tortugas Ninja. The updates bring a breath of fresh air for PC and console gamers.
The April update adds a wealth of content to World of Warships for PC players. The two new ships awaiting completion in the updated dry dock are particularly exciting. The highlight of the 20 construction phases is the premium supercruiser Blücher (level IX). This is characterized by its high precision and improved ballistic properties, while its ammunition impresses with optimized ricochet angles and increased penetration. After just eight construction phases, players can unlock the light Commonwealth cruiser Gambia (level VII), which operates with smoke-generating guns and excels particularly in tactical combat.
In addition to the new cruisers, the update also introduces an innovative medal system. Players will be rewarded for their performance compared to global averages, with medals ranging from Third Degree to Expert. The medals earned are displayed prominently in the player profile and offer a new incentive for outstanding performance.
Another highlight is the temporary game mode "Unbreakable Line". In 7-on-7 battles, players experience a special feature: sunk ships return to the game immediately after sinking. Until May 15, players can fight for 1,000 points in action-packed battles with level VIII and IX ships.
Tortuga's Ninja and new mode in World of Warships: Legends
For gamers on console, World of Warships: Legends has a special feature in store: The famous Tortugas Ninja enter the playing field. With special commanders and skins, the turtles bring new momentum. Two limited "Pizza Time" containers can be earned: One through the mission "Turtle Power" and another in the campaign "The Dragon's Path".
The update also introduces the PvE mode "War Stories", in which teams of three to five players tackle mission objectives together. Three different scenarios, from defending a control point to escorting an ally, provide tactical depth and variety.
The update is rounded off by the Hindenburg Marathon Challenge. The German super cruiser Hindenburg serves as the main objective for the next multi-stage campaign.
