This weekend the public stress test starts
02/03/2022 - MY GAMES and The Farm 51 invite you to participate in the public stress test of their online tactical FPS World War 3 on Steam and in the MY GAMES Store this weekend. It will run from February 3 at 13:00 until February 7 at 13:00.
World War 3 represents a comprehensive authentic tactical experience that approaches real-world warfare while remaining accessible. The game features weapons modeled after those used by actual militaries around the world. Realistic game features such as ballistics, physics, and full-body awareness make for a completely authentic and intense modern combat experience.
The closed World War 3 beta was launched last November and is available to players with closed beta packages and those who purchased the game during its initial Early Access release on Steam. The public stress test is designed to prepare World War 3 for the open beta in March 2022. During the public stress test, players will be able to play through the entire World War 3 closed beta, which offers full access to two modes and four maps: Team Deathmatch in Berlin and Warsaw, and Tactical Ops in Berlin, Warsaw, Moscow and Polyarny. Berlin in particular shines with a particularly high recognition value. In addition, players who participate in World War 3`s public stress test between February 3 and 7 will receive an exclusive reward - the LWH Dark Helmet.
To gain access to the public stress test, players can download World War 3 for free on February 3 or request access on Steam. To participate, players will need a MY GAMES account, which is automatically created for Steam users when they launch the game. Players will have the option to retain all progress made during the public stress test and keep access to the game for the remainder of the closed beta by purchasing CBT packs. With the launch of the open beta scheduled for March 2022, World War 3 will reset all player progress and move to a free-to-play distribution model.
