The Open Beta starts on September 29th!
09/23/2022 - The tactical shooter World War 3 will enter open beta on September 29. All players who have purchased a closed beta package will be eligible to participate in the 3-day beta on September 26. Also, the game will be free for all players starting September 29.
World War 3 is an online tactical FPS developed by Polish studio The Farm 51, also known for Chernobylite and Get Even. Players engage in exciting team-based skirmishes by fighting on the ground, controlling tanks and vehicles, using drones to monitor the battlefield, and executing tactical strikes for maximum damage. Up to 40 players can battle in the two main game modes, Tactical Ops and Deathmatch, on a series of stunning, realistic maps. Form a powerful team and take the fight from the streets of Warsaw, Berlin, Moscow and Polyarny to the outskirts of Smolensk and beyond!
The launch of the Open Beta is the result of a long period of testing, feedback and development. With the help of Closed Beta players and Early Access veterans, as well as the tireless efforts of the development team, the game is finally ready for this next milestone. The game remains in active development, and an upcoming roadmap will provide more clarity on the game's future.
Since the launch of the closed beta, the game has undergone countless changes to improve the game on technical, visual, audio and gameplay levels. In addition, the completely revamped Smolensk has been added back into the map rotation. The open beta will launch with 10 days of bonus XP from September 26 to October 6.
World War 3 is available on Steam, and while the game will be free-to-play starting September 29, those looking to get a head start can grab a Closed Beta pack at a 30% discount. The packs also include a range of awesome game content, including Battle Passes, blueprints for weapons, outfits, and vehicles, cosmetic gear, and more (certain items will be granted during the open beta).
