Game description

World War 3 is a multiplayer military shooter set against the backdrop of a modern global conflict. Featuring cooperative online team play and intense, tactical firefights, players fight in national armies on a selection of maps based on real-world locations. Developer The Farm 51 collaborates with military experts to create a particularly authentic combat experience. Realistic ballistics and equipment, detailed rendered weapons, and the ability to track the consequences of global warfare on the world map are just some of the special features of this shooter.

Modern battlefield experience
World War 3 presents a modern conflict with tactics, techniques and procedures inspired by real combat. All of this is wrapped up in two exciting game modes. Warzone provides opportunities for dynamic, intense firefights in team-based battles of infantry and armored units for fortified points. The tactically oriented Recon mode allows players to work together in small scouting parties, on their own, to survive and capture high-value objectives in enemy territory. Together, these modes create a cohesive gameplay experience that aims to convey the actual feel of modern warfare.

Real locations
Take part in battles in the streets of Warsaw, Berlin and Moscow. Take advantage of the urban environment to surprise the enemy forces and dominate the battlefield.

Versatile customization options
Find your own unique combat set that suits your needs and style without being bound to classes or roles. Choose from hundreds of combinations of unique weapon parts, attachments, skins, camouflage and colors. The same rules apply to vehicles, tactical equipment and uniforms. What's possible in real life is possible in World War 3 - it's that simple!

National pride
World War 3 is strongly focused on military realism, with accurate representations of weapons, uniforms and equipment of the national armed forces. All of this is designed to inspire you to personalize the war effort and prove that your country is the dominant force on the battlefield. All maps are based on real-world locations such as the streets of Warsaw, Berlin and Moscow (more locations are planned), recreated with an unprecedented attention to detail.

Strong team play
World War 3 supports team-based gameplay and rewards initiative when playing as part of a squad. Responsible cooperation within a squad is the best recipe for effectiveness in combat. Players can choose to take the role of attacker or defender and use any available equipment to support their play style - what matters is victory.

Armor vs. projectile
The most authentic bullet versus armor system in the FPS genre to date, achieved through years of research and development with military experts. Ballistics, a weight system, full body awareness, vehicle physics and an extensive customization system affect gameplay in meaningful ways.

Strategic war map
To show the consequences of each battle, the player's performance is rewarded with resources used to conquer or defend an area. Get additional bonuses via the metagame and turn the tide of war! Every vehicle destroyed, every kill, every bullet fired, every achievement affects the big picture, which is displayed on an ever-evolving interactive war map that eventually covers the entire planet.
