Unique combat machines from the world of the game Atomic Heart meet conventional tanks, ground vehicles and helicopters produced by the USSR and the USA during the Cold War. The Atomic Thunder event is already available to players and will run until July 31.

In Atomic Thunder, players will be divided into two teams using conventional combat vehicles such as the T-55A and M-60 tanks, the AH-1 and Mi-24 helicopters, and unique combat vehicles from Atomic Heart. The Hedgie combat robot can curl up into a ball and move across the battlefield at lightning speed, leap up and attack enemies from above, and engage them from a distance with homing missiles with HEAT warheads. The Laser Pchela is a nimble flying drone that attacks with a laser. Finally, the Repair Pchela can repair allied vehicles and robots as well as summon the Burav, a powerful battle machine that attacks enemies from below.

For achievements in battle, players will receive unique Atomic Heart-style decorations and avatars. More information about the event's rewards and other features can be found on War Thunder's official website.
