In Rise of Cultures the Iberian Age is dawning
11/14/2022 - Rise of Cultures is based on the historical development of ancient civilizations, and this update is especially designed for loyal players who have already climbed several branches of their research trees. On November 9, 2022, a new era will begin.
Players who make it through the Feudal Age can unlock "Castillos" and experience the fascinating High Middle Ages - the beginning of the Iberian Era. Starting in 1,000 AD, Europe and the Mediterranean region experienced a population boom, economic, political and social changes and, of course, the appearance of some historical figures.
This new age brings updates to players' existing city buildings, as well as some useful improvements to military forces. Attack strength can be increased with Light Infantry (Almogavars), Crossbowmen, Spanish Horsemen (Jinets), Heavy Infantry from the Order of Calatrava (the oldest military and religious order in Spain) and a more advanced version of the Tribok.
For players who unlocked the manufactories in the Byzantine Era and then made improvements in the Age of the Franks and Feudal Era, more improvements and new goods are available: Doors, Wax Seals and Saffron.
But the Iberian Era isn't just about improvements; Felix also brings new storylines and epic historical journeys. It all starts with the bite of a donkey and ends with Leif Erikson, the legendary Viking and explorer, agreeing to train the players and bring the Viking saga to an epic conclusion.
