Cryptic Studios has announced the availability of the latest expansion for its free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons MMORPG, Neverwinter. "Adventures in Wildspace" is now playable on PC, PlayStation and Xbox and brings the epic finale to the Spelljammer storyline that began with the previous expansion.

The expansion takes players further into the expanded Wildspace, inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons book "Spelljammer: Adventures in Space". There are numerous new locations to explore, including two new systems and the impressive base of Vocath, a crime lord who forms a dubious alliance with the players.

After the turbulent events of the last expansion, the rescued Xaryxian princess Xedalli asks for help to fight with Vocath against the empire of her brother Prince Xeleth. The showdown takes place in the new vault, the Imperial Citadel, where players will encounter the ultimate challenge.

In addition to the new adventure zones and the Vault, there are improvements to the game mechanics and user interface. New enchantments and simplified upgrade costs are just some of the changes being introduced with this expansion.
