For the first time, adventurers can venture into a new adventure zone, the Narbondellyn Quarter, and explore the territory of House Fey-Branche, a powerful house of Menzoberranzan. Demonweb P its also features a new campaign, the challenging "Demonweb Pits" vault with an epic battle against Lolth, exciting hunts throughout Menzoberranzan, and gameplay improvements, including a new, enhanced level advancement experience. This expansion marks the end of the Menzoberranzan storyline, as the next Neverwinter expansion will be unlike anything players have experienced before.

After the events of Menzoberranzan, Gromph Baenre, the Archmage of Menzoberranzan, has recovered his lost tome on demon summoning, Zhaun'ol'leal. The Archmage sifted through ancient texts in the Sorcere to find a way into the Demonweb Pits, Lolth's realm in the Abyss. This materialized a spell that broke under its own weight and connected the Material Plane and the Demon Web Pits. This allowed demons, Lolth included, to enter the Netherrealm and a flood of Abyssal magic was unleashed in the Narbondellyn Quarter. To prevent Menzoberranzan from being torn apart, adventurers must team up with Noori, a brilliant Sorcere mage, seal the rift between the planes, and send Lolth back to the Abyss!

New Adventure Zone - Narbondellyn: Experience a new neighborhood with the landmark of Menzoberranzan, Narbondel.

New Vault - Demonweb Pits: Archmage Gromph's failed spell has softened the boundaries between Menzoberranzan and the Demonweb Pits, and the heroes of Neverwinter must band together to drive Lolth from the Material Plane. Enter the Demon Web Pits vault to challenge Lolth to an epic battle and discover new secrets, bosses, and rewards.

In this brand new vault, players can choose between three difficulty levels:

• Normal and Adept for random waitlists.
• Master for players seeking the ultimate challenge

New Hunts of Menzoberranzan: Embark on challenging hunts throughout Menzoberranzan, pitting you against fearsome monstrosities from the Underrealm and the Demonweb Pits. Team up with other adventurers to take down these foes, close open abyssal rifts in Menzoberranzan, and gather the power of the Demon Web Pits!

• These new hunts bring modifiers to make each hunt more challenging and earn greater rewards. There is a mix of mechanics familiar from previous hunts in Neverwinter's Dragonslayer and Ravenloft.

Highest Level - The Hero's Path: The new leveling experience, the meta-adventure set "The Hero's Path," offers exciting quests and new rewards for those who have reached level 20 (the highest level in the game) as you accumulate progress. This both enhances the experience for new players and introduces them to the end-game experience of Neverwinter.

• In their adventure book, players can expect a new level-up experience under "The Hero's Path," where they will go through the game in a tutorial format while learning more about gameplay mechanics (e.g. combat, currency, etc.) and receiving suggestions for exploring different areas of the game.
