Root of Nightmares is the new raid released shortly after the launch of Destiny 2: Lightfall. Keepers must face the ancient threat that grows outside the gates of their home and has come from an unknown time and place. Keepers can jump into this gripping raid with a six-person task force on Friday, March 10 at 18:00 CET. The Root of Night mares raid will be available to all Destiny 2: Lightfall owners.

Rootof Nightmares will open with competitive mode enabled. Mission teams will have 48 hours to complete the raid with the requirements listed below and grab exclusive rewards:

• Player:s power is capped at 20 for each encounter, with 1780 being the maximum power.
• The first squad to master all encounters, loot the last chest, and return to orbit will earn the title of "World's First."
  • All six members of the raid squad will receive a "World's First" belt.
• Those who complete the raid in competitive mode and achieve the associated triumph within 48 hours will receive an exclusive badge and bragging rights.
• The raid will start in competitive mode, which will be active for 48 hours starting at 18:00 CET.
