Wargaming launches Early Access on April 2

Yesterday - Wargaming has announced the Early Access date for its new free-to-play shooter Steel Hunters. The battle royale and extraction shooter with mechas will enter the early access phase on April 2. This will give players the opportunity to help shape the game. In addition, there will be big discounts on various Wargaming titles during the Steam Publisher Weekend.
Wargaming, known for games such as World of Tanks and World of Warships, is launching a new IP with Steel Hunters. The free-to-play shooter combines elements of battle royale and extraction mode with powerful mechas as central characters. Early Access will begin on April 2, 2025 to further develop the game together with the community.
The development team emphasizes that players can actively contribute to the development process during this phase. Feedback from the community will be used to further adapt and optimize the game. Detailed information on this process will be published at the start of Early Access.
Mecha battles and strategic extraction
Steel Hunters offers action-packed battles with giant mechas known as Hunters. Players control various mechanized war machines to fight their way through dynamic battlefields, gain experience and acquire new equipment.
Each Hunter has its own playstyle profile with unique abilities and individual progression systems. This opens up numerous strategic opportunities to outwit opponents and qualify for the final extraction scenario. The playable mechas include:
