Journey to the Singularity: New content update available
06/09/2023 - Gaijin Entertainment today announced the release of the "Journey to the Singularity" update for Crossout. New vehicle parts from the Dawn Children faction - including secret prototypes developed by the Waderkvarn Corporation - allow you to build even more impressive armored vehicles and fight battles in the new Orbital Station PvP venue.
The update also revises the damage mechanics and introduces a new interface for building armored vehicles. The new season "Journey to the Singularity" runs until October 11 and offers dozens of rewards, including the mechanical legs "Gerrida I" (reduces the dispersion of weapons while moving), the engine "Pegasus" (optimal for walkers with high energy consumption) and a new relic - the rocket launcher "RU-9 Helicon" (fires a volley of three rockets, each of which has a unique effect). Particularly dangerous is the melee weapon "Charybdis": approaching the enemy from behind, it releases blades that increase the contact area. The railgun "Thierce I" and the cab "Kronos" also bring a new mechanic to the game: to charge their special abilities, you need to be near the remains of other armored vehicles.
The new location "Orbital Station" consists of sand, rocks, an oasis with palm trees and the wreckage of the space station at the bottom of the shallow lake. This place once belonged to the Waderkvarn Corporation and may still contain their databases, which is why the crash site is hotly contested. At the beginning of the battle, players can either rush to the center and fight for control of the station or use one of the flank routes where the monstrous machines of the Ravagers burn down.
The update also introduces a new parameter for weapons in Crossout - penetrating power. The higher it is, the deeper the projectile can penetrate the target's structure and damage more parts along the way. This adds even more variety to the construction of vehicles and makes the game even more realistic.
