July update: New game modes and events
The Crossout update in July offers players many exciting new features. The highlight is the new "Rundown" event, which will take place from July 25 to August 21. Players can earn event experience points by completing daily challenges, unlocking rewards such as faction workbench vouchers, in-game coins, stickers, containers and engineer badges. Additional rewards are available for purchasers of the "Rundown" package.
Another highlight is the return of the "Big Black Scorpions" PvP Brawl, which will take place from July 18-24. In this mode, players fight with pre-built vehicles and can earn rewards such as containers and engineer badges by completing special challenges.
From July 25 to 31, players can take part in the "Taming the Dragon" raid. This cooperative raid requires survival against various waves of enemies, with rewards in the form of scrap metal and plastic. There are also daily challenges that offer additional rewards.
Other brawls planned include "Impulsiveness" (August 1-7), "Wheels of Fortune" (August 8-14) and "At Gunpoint" (August 15-21).
New relic weapon and balance adjustments
The update also introduces the long-awaited relic weapon "Devourer" Minigun. This weapon shoots fast projectiles continuously and has a high penetrating power. When hit, the player receives additional advantages thanks to a mixture of different projectile types.
The update also includes numerous balance changes that affect the game mechanics and weapon customizations. Weapons such as the "MG13 Equalizer" and the "MG14 Arbiter" will receive an increased rotation speed, while other weapons such as the "Tempura" will see a reduction in the damage zone.
