The new season Helheim is here!
06/09/2022 - Booming Tech's tactical medieval action MMO Conqueror's Blade today released its 12th free update: Helheim. It opens a new seasonal campaign inspired by seafaring Vikings, including two new unit types, revised maps and other unique content.
Julie Elven, soundtrack singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, is known as a soloist for major video game themes including Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, League of Legends, World of Warcraft - Legion, Hearthstone and more. Now she's lending her talents with her work on the trailer for the Viking-inspired new Conqueror's Blade Season. Her partner in this work was none other than the famous composer and YouTuber Colm McGuinness, who wrote the music for the hit role-playing game series Critical Role. Julie and Colm talked about the process of scoring the emotional trailer in two exclusive interviews, which can be found on the official website of Conqueror's Blade.
New units: Players will be able to unlock two new types of units: The Varangian Guards are the defenders of the royal family of the kingdom of Empyros and use swords, shields and axes with tremendous effect. They are generously rewarded for their efforts and deter any threat as they fight their way through the north. Huskarle are the personal guard of Harald the Butcher and are considered the most formidable warriors of the Northlands and a role model for their comrades. The longer their skald song is sung, the greater the effect on their movement, attack speed, and armor penetration.
Revamped maps: starting today, players can send their Viking raiders into battle in the legendary Broch Eastray. Also, two more locations will be available soon: Aurelian (June 27) and Healing Fjord (July 18). The third map of the season will feature an all-new rainy weather. Rain, thunder and lightning as if Thor himself conjured it up.
