The way of the samurai is paved
06/01/2023 - Booming Tech and MYGAMES today announced the start of the "Sengoku" season for their tactical MMO Conqueror's Blade. Players will follow the path of the samurai, recruit new units inspired by the warriors of Japan, embark on a new seasonal campaign, and experience the challenge of a new solo PvE mode to level up their warriors.
Players can earn three new units as they progress through seasonal content. The following units can be unlocked during the season:
- Ronin (3-star): The sword-wielding Ronin can deal a large amount of damage in a short amount of time.
- Onna-musha (4-star): These more defensive warriors use their long reach to fend off attackers.
- Orochi-samurai (5-star): When enemy cavalry is a problem, the Orochi Samurai can respond with their polearms and quickly take out mounted enemies.
To strengthen these warriors, there is a brand new growth system with the Unit Mastery. Through this system, a unit's skill level is gradually unlocked, allowing players to increase its attributes and change its abilities and mechanics. Since the list of units includes more than 100 unique options, balancing has become increasingly difficult over time. This new feature (in addition to the changes to the existing units) is intended to give players more freedom in choosing units while still being able to command a competitive army.
The new solo PvE mode, Mastery Commander, is an excellent way to improve a player's unit mastery. Players go through a multi-stage siege that culminates in an attack on the enemy commander. Players can bring their own units, but also randomly receive additional units and support from friendly NPC heroes.
With the Sengoku Battle Pass, players can unlock two new samurai outfits. The Shadow Muraji Hero costume is unlocked instantly with the Premium Battle Pass, and reaching the highest level is earned with the Red Stag Hero costume and Red Stag Rider set in addition to all other available rewards. Conqueror's Blade is available via the game's website and/or Steam.
