Season 1 started today with the first Fortuna Pass
06/22/2022 - After more than 1 million players have already explored the world of Fortuna III, Season 1 of The Cycle: Frontier starts today. The extraction shooter from the Berlin-based game developer is available at no additional cost. To celebrate the start of the season, YAGER is launching a twitch drops campaign from June 23 to July 4 that includes valuable in-game gear as well as vanity items.
Season 1 of The Cycle: Frontier introduces the new Fortuna Pass, which allows players to earn Aurum, Salvage Tokens and other free goodies to better survive the deadly dangers of Fortuna III. The paid version of the Fortuna Pass includes new Prospector skins, a variety of weapon skins, emotes, weapon charms, XP boosters and more. Characters created in Pre-Season will, of course, remain with all earned items at the launch of Season 1.
Players will experience the dynamic sci-fi world of Fortuna III in The Cycle: Frontier, a world filled with valuable treasures, beautiful biomes and a variety of hostile creatures. Alone or in league with up to two friends, players drop onto the hostile surface of Fortuna III, gather resources, battle creatures, and duel with other enemy prospectors. The Cycle: Frontier combines PvE, PvP and co-op gameplay elements. Quests, bounties and end-game dungeons ensure long-lasting gameplay fun.
