The frequency of storms on Crescent Falls and Tharis Island has tripled and the resident factions can't explain how this could have happened. Players will therefore be given the opportunity by the factions to go into the eye of the storm and investigate the mysterious events on site as "Storm Divers."

Players who take up the challenge of the house will receive special equipment to survive the storm. The gear includes a night vision helmet, storm-proof armor, and a selection of useful modifications and consumable items.

During the event, prospectors will be able to craft all of the faction's weapons without being limited by their reputation. This includes legendary weapons as well as epic and exotic items. However, in order to do this, players will have to find the strange meteor cores and fragments on the event maps.
