Content update Refractions now also available for consoles

Star Trek Online

03/15/2023 - Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios yesterday released Star Trek Online: Refractions for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. In this new season, which has been available for PC for a bit longer, players will experience the conclusion of the "Terran Move", which is all about the Terran Emperor Wesley Crusher.

The new season of Star Trek Online features Terran versions of classic Star Trek characters with the voices of the original actors in their iconic roles. Wil Wheaton returns as Terran Emperor Wesley Crusher, as do Gates McFadden as Terran Dr. Beverly Crusher and Chase Masterson as Terran Admiral Leeta. In addition to the new episode Fujiwhara Effect, which concludes the "Terran Move," the new season includes the following content:

Brand New Mission

Bird Cage A five-player ground mission that serves as a prequel to the Fujiwhara Effect episode. Players must join four other captains on a jailbreak in the mirror universe to free Terran Dr. Beverly Crusher so she can stop her son from destroying everything and everyone.

Two new patrols

Jupiter Station and Khonshu Khaibit, one ground and one space patrol in the mirror universe of "Terran Move."

13th Anniversary Event

From March 14 to April 13, in addition to the additional content, players can earn a new Class 6 ship, the Compiler Research Dreadnought, collect Omega Fragments, and create high-value Omega tech upgrades from Q and his long-awaited Omega Molecule Stabilization.
