In this season, Starbase 1 is attacked by a new species of Borg, and Starfleet receives help from a mysterious and powerful new ally in trying to beat back the Borg attack. Star Trek Online: Incursion will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S on November 1, 2023.

Trek Online: Incursion continues the multiverse storyline from last season, which saw an incident with the Tholians and the rupture of a reality vortex. A new vortex has appeared near Starbase 1 and the Borg are pouring through it into Federation space. The season also sees Garrett Wang and Kipleigh Brown return in their roles as Captain Harry Kim and Captain Kuumaarke.

Players will also meet Commander Erin Macdonald, Captain Kim's new astrophysicist, who appeared in Star Trek: Prodigy. Commander Erin Macdonald is voiced by Erin Macdonald, an astrophysicist and aerospace engineer who is a Star Trek science advisor and host of the YouTube channel Dr. Erin Explains the Universe.

Star Trek Online: Incursion offers the following new features:

New Episode - Surprised

• A Borg invasion fleet is pouring out of a reality vortex near Starbase 1. These Borg are stronger, more brutal, and more aggressive than any Borg the Federation has encountered before. Starfleet must summon all its might and rely on unexpected help to repel the Borg forces.

New Operations Command - Defense of Starbase 1

• The Borg have launched an attack on Starbase 1 and players must facilitate the safe evacuation of all personnel in this 5-captain space task force.

New Operations Command - Guillotine

• The Borg launch an invasion through a massive reality vortex. Players must fight off the Borg and close down the vortex in this Space Operations Command for 5 Captains.

K6 Ship Upgrade Expansion

• Upgrade from T6-X to T6-X2.
• Captains can unlock one additional space each for starship traits, universal consoles, and equipment.

Season 30 Event: Borg Tesseract

• By playing select content, Captains can earn the customization floor set with three set pieces.
• During the event, players can also pick up a free Protostar Starfleet Uniform!

New Prodigy Locking Crate.

• A new locking crate based on Star Trek: Prodigy.
• A brand new Protostar-class starship with Proto-Warp propulsion and the Reformed Living Construct console.
• With equipment and weapons from the show
