Uniting regions - Update 32.1 with new features
10/10/2024 - The latest update to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, patch 32.1, brings important changes to the game. In addition to a global region merge, which should reduce waiting times, there are new game modes, weapon adjustments and improvements to the recall system.
Region merging for a better gaming experience
With Update 32.1, PUBG introduces global region merging. This move is aimed at reducing matchmaking wait times while increasing the level of competition. By merging multiple regions, players worldwide will have the opportunity to get into the game faster and encounter a larger player base, which should make for more balanced matches.
Hungers Left Behind: New Arcade Mode
An exciting addition in this update is the new Hungers Left Behind arcade mode. This mode offers a challenging variant of the well-known Survivors Left Behind. Players not only have to watch out for enemies, but also overcome the ever-increasing damage caused by hunger. Strategic decisions are crucial in order to survive in this mode. The mode is available immediately for PC players and will be released on consoles on October 17.
Adjustments to care package weapons
Weapons from the Care Packs have been reworked to make the gameplay more dynamic. Some weapons, such as the FAMAS and MG3, have been buffed to increase their usage. At the same time, other weapons, such as the Mk14, have received slight nerfs to maintain the balance between the different weapon types. Additionally, the Lynx AMR has been made available on all maps and the DBS has been placed exclusively in care packages.
Further updates and bug fixes
In addition to the major changes, smaller adjustments and bug fixes have also been made. The recall system has been revised so that recall flights appear more frequently in a match and the blue chip mechanic has been improved. Players can now more easily bring team members back into the game without having to endure long waiting times.
A new Survivor Pass has also been introduced, accompanied by a revised ranking system for Season 32, with changes to requirements and rewards to ensure a fair and challenging experience at the higher ranks.
