KRAFTON introduces clan system
05/11/2023 - KRAFTON, Inc. is adding a clan system to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, allowing players to create clans and collaborate with clan members to gain a range of benefits and rewards.
The players with a BATTLEGROUNDS PLUS account can create clans by clicking on the clan button in the lobby. Once the clan is created, various features such as clan search, chat and notifications are available. Each clan consists of a clan master, manager and general members and can have up to 100 members. The players who have completed the tutorials are eligible to join a clan. They can either follow a request to join a clan or be invited by a current clan member.
To make clans even more fun, there is a new progression system with clan levels and rewards. Clans can progress up to level 20 and earn clan XP by playing. Once a clan reaches level two, the clan tag will be displayed under the player's nickname/PUBG ID, along with a corresponding tag badge. The clan tag badge can be upgraded when a clan levels up. Players will receive a double XP bonus when playing with their clan members, allowing the clan to level up faster. Players will also receive a 30 percent BP boost when playing with members of their clan.
Taeseok Jang, executive producer of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, said,"We introduced the clan system with the 23.2 test server update to promote a sense of community and increase player satisfaction. We hope players will have a more immersive gaming experience with their friends and clan members through the new system."
