Roadmap update for September and October with new raids and class 4
08/26/2024 - Lost Ark has announced important adjustments to the planned roadmap for Fall 2024. In addition to the introduction of Class 4 and new raids, there are also changes to the schedule and new events that should offer players an intense experience.
The developers of Lost Ark have announced an update to the roadmap for September and October 2024. The original plan was to release Class 4 as well as new raids and events at an earlier date. However, due to localization delays and player feedback, there will be adjustments to the schedule.
The first highlight of the revised schedule is the Behemoth raid, which will be released on September 11. In this raid for 16 players, valuable materials for weapon transcendence as well as gold can be looted. To make it easier for players to get started, the required item level will be reduced to 1620. Behemoth will also drop Class 3 buff materials to help players prepare for the upcoming Class 4.
Alongside the Behemoth raid, the Arktoberfest event is also returning. Here, players can earn important progression materials such as Oreha Fusion Materials and Transcendence Restoration Tickets through daily activities. This event is especially intended to help players prepare for the upcoming Class 4, which will be released on October 9.
The release of Class 4 will be delayed by two weeks to give the localization teams more time to translate the new content into all supported languages. However, this delay will also give players the opportunity to better prepare for the new challenges and collect additional materials.
Another important point on the roadmap is the introduction of the Ignite server. This will replace the previous "Express Server" and is intended to make it easier for new players to get started. With special tools and support for quick upgrades, the Ignite server should make the transition to the legacy servers easier. The new system will be introduced for the first time in the NA/EU version of the game before it is rolled out globally.
The Aegir raid will then be released on October 16. This raid, coming a week after Class 4, will offer players a new challenge and the opportunity to obtain Class 4 Ancient gear that can be further strengthened via the Ark Passive system. Depending on player progress, the Aegir Raid could also be delayed by one week to October 23.
In addition to the new content, the developers are continuing to work on improvements and adjustments based on player feedback. Among other things, nerfs for certain raids and updates for the progression system are to follow soon. Another highlight in the future will be the release of an API for the western version of Lost Ark.
The team at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG emphasizes the importance of player feedback and invites the community to continue to voice their opinions and participate in surveys.
