First of all, this update adds a completely new area to the game: the Mists. Focused on single and duo players, the Mists offer a wide range of possibilities with their magical nature. With the magical purple-tinged landscapes and fantastic creatures in this area, players will experience excitement and exhilaration exploring a pristine area without the risk of encountering large groups: Both lethal and non-lethal areas are available for this purpose.

Those who prove themselves worthy will glimpse the new city in the depths of the mists: Brecilien. It has no fixed location and can only be entered by those who have discovered its secrets in Depths of the Mists. Once discovered, Brecilien can be entered from the Mists and the streets of Avalon, and the city serves as an excellent base for players to explore these ancient lands. The mists also contain never-before-seen creatures with powerful spells and valuable artifacts. The artifacts can be used by talented craftsmen to craft the new Fairy Armor, which provides nine armor pieces in three lines, these in turn offer a selection of new spells that will enrich Albion's various fighting styles. And there will also be resources in a new, very valuable enchantment level, Flawless, which will certainly bring open world combat and new opportunities for crafters.

With the update also comes a reworking of the streets of Avalon, making these areas more interesting for smaller guilds. Lairs within the streets can be declared headquarters and built up faster. You can come across power cores in the streets, as well as treasures, upgraded mobs, crystal spiders, and more. And, last but not least, Behind the Veil also brings noticeable improvements to the overall game quality, for example, an improved guild crest design, the ability to create and directly purchase guild equipment, and a revised character selection.
