Federal Minister of Economics opens gamescom 2023

05/08/2023 - Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Robert Habeck will attend the official opening of gamescom 2023 on August 23. This was announced today by Koelnmesse and game - Association of the German Games Industry.
After Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck was unable to make his announced gamescom visit last year at short notice and sent a detailed video message instead, he will travel to this year's Trade Visitor and Media Day. In addition to the official opening event in the late afternoon of August 23, the Federal Minister of Economics will take a tour the following day to get his own impression of the current trends in the games industry.
