The Long Night of Museums returns

05/15/2023 - Wargaming announces the return of its third annual maritime history event, Long Night of Museums, in celebration of International Museum Day. Featuring 19 virtual tours of maritime museums, the livestream event will take viewers around the globe and feature informative panel discussions and Q&A sessions with special guests.
The livestream event will take place on May 18 at 12:00 p.m. on the World of Warships Twitch channel and will also feature interactive quizzes with special in-game prizes to be won, as well as lots of special Long Night of Museums Twitch content. The third edition of the Long Night of Museums continues World of Warships' mission to celebrate and support the work of naval museums and heritage sites to preserve maritime history. Featuring 19 different naval museums from around the world, the Long Night of Museums kicks off in 2023 in Croatia with the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum before taking the public to Brazil, the Netherlands and Chile. The evening will conclude with more tours of HMS Belfast in the United Kingdom before heading to the United States of America, Australia and South Korea, with a final tour at Hamsang Park.

In addition to these guided virtual tours, the Long Night of Museums livestream event will also feature a special screening of the documentary "Surrender on the USS Missouri" by media partner MagellanTV, followed by a discussion with award-winning director Tim Gray, as well as panel discussions with the Historical Naval Ships Association and the United States Navy Institute, a longtime partner. Players watching the livestream on Twitch will also be able to participate, as World of Warships will release three different pieces of free in-game content throughout the evening. In addition to these drops, the Long Night of Museums will also feature a quiz with special in-game prizes to be won.
