All info about the latest update at World of Warships
04/17/2023 - Wargaming has released a new update packed with new content. The update brings the Japanese Tier IX battleship Daisen into the shipyard and introduces an exotic new map called Seychelles as well as a collection around the Allied powers of World War II into the game. In addition, four new VTuber commanders have been added.
The Daisen is the highlight of the update and is being built at the Kure shipyard. The ship is the result of a 34-step shipbuilding process and features high speed, eight accurate 410 mm cannons and four long-range quad torpedo tubes. The Daisen is less robust than other ships, but its weapons more than make up for it. The port of Kure has been redecorated to celebrate this project.
The Seychelles map is a new, lushly landscaped map available for random and co-op battles. Level V-IX ships can compete in Domination mode with four key zones scattered across the map.
World of Warships also welcomes a themed "Allied Heroes" collection dedicated to the end of World War II in Europe. There are twelve different items to collect, and players who complete each section will be rewarded with corresponding commanders for the Allied nations, each with ten skill points.
At the end of the update, the hololive production characters return to the game. Four Japanese virtual bloggers (VTuber) join the ranks of commanders. Players can choose from different commanders such as Watson Amelia and Takanashi Kiara, each equipped with their own voice. This partnership also brings special camouflage and a commemorative flag to the game.
