Rubber ducks, Pan American cruisers and special events
03/22/2023 - On April 1, the popular "Trouble in the Pool" mode returns with an army of rubber duckies, while nine Pan-American cruisers also launch in Early Access. Additionally, the game celebrates its two-year anniversary on the Epic Games Store with a special campaign where players can earn up to $20.
The "Trouble in the Pool" mode will be available from March 23 to April 20 and will offer players the chance to choose from six unique rubber duck warships. Along with this fun mode, World of Warships is also working with Placid Plastic Duck Simulator on a joint DLC pack available on Steam from March 23 to April 14.
Starting March 31, nine Pan-American Level II-X cruisers will be brought into Early Access. These ships are equipped with upgraded AP grenades and combat instructions and are best suited for medium and long range operations. Almost all of these ships are available through random and sequential packages, with the Level VIII cruiser Ignacio Allende waiting at the end of the Extended Battle Pass.
To properly celebrate the two-year anniversary on the Epic Games Store, new players can participate in a four-week Achievement Hunt starting March 23 to receive up to $20 in their PayPal account. To do so, they must complete three different achievements during the event. Additionally, there are discounts on DLCs as well as the Starter Pack: Ishizuchi DLC and a mission marathon with a special Epic camouflage, patch and background.
For all Steam players, free DLC featuring the premium level II cruiser Almirante Abreu is available until April 13.
