Wanderers uncover the secrets of a forgotten realm as they explore the new map, while two new simulacra join their journey and they take on new bosses and challenging content.

Area 9 is located in the middle of the Aida spacetime singularity in the great sea of Vera, and at first glance seems very similar to the outside world. Due to spacetime barriers, Area 9 was sealed off from the rest of Vera for more than 100 years, securing the name "The Forgotten Realm." The people inside discovered a special site, the Black Jade Ruins. Based on research about them, they were able to develop the sophisticated timestamp tech. The timestamp technology is now at the center of the people's resistance against their greatest threat, the Grey Space Entities, or as they call them, the Darkness.

Area 9 consists of four major zones, each inspired by the four symbols of mythical creatures from an ancient civilization. Wanderers will be able to experience the technological power of Area 9 for themselves in this new map and venture into the update's many new puzzles and challenges. They will also get a taste of new forms of exploration: the relic "Wind Speed", with which it will feel like they are walking on air, as well as the new cruisers. New gameplay features are also on the way, such as the new AI servant system and the new mentorship system, which provide support to wanderers in tricky battles and allow them to recruit mentors and apprentices. Wanderers can also challenge Zhuyan, a new boss unintentionally awakened in the Black Jade Ruins.

Two new simulacra make their appearance in version 3.0 along with a wealth of new content. Liu Huo, with the responsibility of guarding the captured darkness, joins players first. Her fierce and passionate fighter nature makes her the perfect woman for the job. With her calligraphy brush, she uses ink to defend herself against enemies.
