Major Vera update to be released on October 20
10/04/2022 - Publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio have announced that Vera, the first major update for Tower of Fantasy, will be released on October 20. The Vera expansion introduces two new areas - the irradiated wilderness of the Rock Pillar Desert and the cyberpunk city of Mirroria at its center.
At first glance, the glittering metropolis seems like an oasis that offers a respite from the rigors of the harsh rocky column desert. However, the wanderers soon discover that the city is full of dangers and conflicts.
Both areas offer a wealth of new missions, events, raids, instances, monsters and legendary bosses that are already waiting for the wanderers. There are also new vehicles to discover and a number of new weapons to master. But the biggest challenge awaits players in an area of the Rock Pillar Desert also known as the Gray Room. Upon entering the gray room, the entire environment darkens and players are overcome with the dark foreboding that they will soon encounter the gray room creatures that call this place home. These creatures appear in many different forms and are responsible for the increasing deterioration of Vera's already fragile environment. The deadliest of them are known as Abyssants, and the bravest wanderers who take them on will be generously rewarded.
To get a taste of the action that awaits players in Vera, here is the brand new trailer. This one also gives a first look at some of the new characters in Tower of Fantasy - Lin, Ruby and Saki Fuwa:
Tower of Fantasy is set hundreds of years in the future, after humanity has escaped the environmental collapse on Earth and fled to the distant planet of Aida. The game's cross-platform action invites players worldwide to be part of this exciting story in a Shared Open World. Developed by Hotta Studio and published by Level Infinite, the MMORPG features an immersive open world, cooperative group and solo adventures, free character development, unique simulacra, and epic battles where players can switch weapons and play styles on the fly to develop their own personal fighting style.
