With the upcoming launch of THRONE AND LIBERTY, players will be introduced to a revised and expanded version of the game. A look back at the development

Since the initial release in Korea, the team has worked closely with players and NCSOFT to further develop the game. In particular, level advancement has been revised to make the game experience more fluid. The introduction system for new players has been enhanced, making it easier to find your way around the game. Players can experience a variety of new quests that go beyond simply defeating monsters. Equipment progression has also been adjusted to provide higher levels with tangible rewards and improved balance.

New features in the combat system

One of the main focuses was on the variety of battles and the customization options for builds. New skill specializations have been introduced, allowing over 250 skills to be adapted and further developed. Players can choose from 24 active skills per weapon combination and equip their armor sets with passive bonuses. Another optimization concerns the controller controls, which provide more precision.

PvP and balance

The PvP system has also been fundamentally adapted. There are now dynamic events and 1v1 conquest battles to ensure fair conditions. Guild alliances have been restricted and PvP in lower level zones has been improved to give new players a better chance.

PvE and lifestyle content

THRONE AND LIBERTY also launches with new PvE modes, such as the introduction of co-op dungeons and the Portal of Infinity. Players can embark on expeditions where they can collect valuable items. New lifestyle content includes fishing and cooking, giving players further opportunities to develop their skills in the game.

Comfort updates

A number of improvements have been made to make the game experience more enjoyable. Auction houses have been merged across servers and there is a new system for group searches. The experience penalty after death has been removed, further simplifying the game flow.
