In January 2025, players of the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic can look forward to several interesting in-game events. The "Pirate Incursion" event will kick things off, followed by the "Bounty Contract Week". Both events offer unique challenges and rewarding rewards for players of different levels.

Pirate Incursion on Dantooine

The "Pirate Incursion" event takes place from January 7 to 13, 2025 and is aimed at players from level 20. In this scenario, the remote planet Dantooine is the focus of the conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Under the guise of secret Imperial operations, the Nova Blade pirates are attacking the planet. While the Republic is trying to secure its territory, the Empire is trying to exploit the situation and gain a strategic advantage.

Bounty Contract Week

The "Bounty Contract Week" starts on January 21 and ends on January 27, 2025. From level 15, players can take on dangerous contracts from the Bounty Brokers Association. A standard Henchman contract and a more challenging Kingpin contract are available every day, taking players to different planets. Completing five standard missions unlocks the particularly rewarding Kingpin missions.
