Woodcutting and bending now up to level 110
12/09/2024 - RuneScape raises the level cap for Woodcrafting and Bowsmithing to 110. Players can expect a magical grove, new materials and the masterwork bow. The update also offers numerous improvements and new items.
RuneScape is extending the level caps of the Woodcutting and Bending skills to 110, bringing a breath of fresh air to the game's crafting system. These changes follow similar updates to Mining and Blacksmithing that took place a few months ago. With the introduction of new content such as magical groves and high-value items, skill training is made even more varied.
Players can now explore a magical grove near the Eagle's Peak, where eternal magic trees await. These not only offer new mechanics such as tree timers and logging intuition, but also special resources such as eternal magic logs and enchanted bird nests. The new resources can be used to craft advanced bow weapons, including the level 100 Masterwork bow.
New tools and materials
The update also introduces upgradable level 90 and 100 axes that make the logging process more efficient. In the area of bowsmithing, players will benefit from new consumables that support the crafting of complex items such as crossbows and short bows.
In addition, numerous general improvements have been made to skills. New items such as teak and Acadian logs are now also available in the free version of the game. This significantly expands the options for players without a premium membership.
Further adjustments and Christmas content
Accompanying the update, some existing content has been revised, including the level requirements for achievements and the availability of resources on free worlds.
