RuneFest 2025: Additional tickets and new details for the event at the NEC

07/03/2024 - Jagex has announced RuneFest 2025 for March 1-2 at the NEC Birmingham. There will be an additional 1,000 tickets available in the summer.

Jagex, the development studio behind the popular MMORPG RuneScape, has officially announced the date and venue for the upcoming RuneFest. The event will take place on March 1 and 2, 2025 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. The company has also announced that 1,000 additional tickets will be made available for sale over the summer.

Tickets and refunds

All tickets already purchased will remain valid and will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Should there be any ticket holders who are unable to attend on the new date, it will be possible to apply for a full refund via SeeTickets. Due to the changes, Insomnia will no longer be part of RuneFest and there will be no access to other events at the NEC. Camping facilities will also no longer be available, camping tickets already purchased will be automatically refunded.

Meredith Ford, RuneFest Project Manager at Jagex, expressed her gratitude for the patience of fans during the planning phase: "We would like to thank our fans for their patience while we found solutions to ensure RuneFest could go ahead. We are pleased to confirm the new date in March next year." She also emphasized that RuneFest is now a standalone, independently organized event that continues to aim to celebrate the community around RuneScape.

Despite the changes and the resulting inconvenience for some fans, Jagex is confident and looking forward to the upcoming event. The company apologizes for any inconvenience and is optimistic about the celebrations in March 2025.
