RuneFest 2024: A first look at the upcoming player festival

03/01/2024 - RuneFest, the annual highlight for RuneScape players, is coming up again. Exciting new features and an extensive program have been announced for 2024. From September 7-8, the NEC in Birmingham will be transformed into a meeting place for the community, with a special focus on the future of the game and the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with creators and fans.

RuneFest 2024 promises to be an unforgettable event for the RuneScape community. As an annual festival that brings together gamers from around the world, it offers a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of the beloved online world and meet like-minded fans. Held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, the event attracts attention with a diverse program of game reveals, community meet-ups and special events.

Highlights of RuneFest 2024 include announcements on the latest RuneScape developments and content, the opportunity to test the latest game content, and interaction with the developers and other players. Special emphasis will be placed on interaction with the community and the opportunity to take part in discussions and competitions. RuneFest is expanding its offering this year by partnering with the Insomnia Gaming Festival, giving visitors access to both events for an even richer experience.

Tickets for the two-day event will be available for £175, with early bookers able to take advantage of a reduced price. Included in the ticket price is not only access to RuneFest, but also to the Insomnia Gaming Festival, promising attendees a jam-packed weekend of gaming activities.

For those unable to attend in person, the RuneScape team plans to share the highlights and atmosphere of the festival through a livestream. This is to ensure that no one misses out on the event and that the community can also participate digitally.
