At the center of the announcements is the introduction of Valamore, a new expansion that will be released in two parts. The first part, which will be released in March 2024, includes exploration of the Civitas illa Fortis and the vast Avium Savannah. Players can look forward to new quests, the Fortis Colosseum, the dangerous Moons mini-game and the Hunter Guild. The second part, planned for the summer, will introduce the luxurious island of Aldarin and a mountainous area north of Civitas illa Fortis.

A journey into the past: classic quests revisited

Old School RuneScape is reviving two of its most famous quests: "Defender of Varrock" and "While Guthix Sleeps". These quests are part of the Mahjarrat storyline and are some of the most requested content from the community. "Defender of Varrock" will be released in spring 2024, followed by "While Guthix Sleeps" in summer.

PvP revolution: Chaos Temple

PvP players can look forward to an overhaul of the Chaos Temple, which will serve as an entry point for lower-level players into the PvP world in Spring 2024.

Technological advances: HD mode and plugin API

A major new feature is the HD mode, which offers a graphical upgrade with dynamic lighting and sun effects. In addition, an official plugin API will be introduced, allowing players to use and create their own plugins, both on PC and mobile devices.
