Shadow Force introduces a powerful new melee weapon: the Shadow Blade. Players can use their sword aura to hit additional nearby enemies with their slashes, use the Draw Slash skill to quickly move towards or away from the fight, and use the Assault Blade passive skill to briefly block any incoming projectiles from the front. For longer distances, players can use the new Skytether hook to catapult themselves through the air and quickly close the gap on unsuspecting enemies or escape from tight situations in a flash. For more tactical players, there's the new Proxy Scout, an item that sends out a controllable dummy scout that players can use to disrupt enemies and safely gather intel.

Several classic city areas on the maps have been redesigned, such as Yasnaya Polyana, the prison and Georgopol. New buildings have been introduced and existing ones modified to provide players with new ways to traverse and loot. There are also supply depots and stealth doors in some buildings that players can discover and offer additional loot.

The version 3.0 update also brings a number of improvements to the World of Wonders creative mode, including new customization options, templates, interactive objects and more. New gameplay devices have also been added, including a virtual projection device that projects holograms of characters and a Humanoid Enemy Spawn Device that can be used to set up humanoid PvE enemies.

Also coming to the game on January 11 is Arctic Base, the long-awaited new Metro Royale map set in a snowy military fortress. It features new challenging tank and commander enemies, a stealthy high-pressure air rifle, area destruction, zipline mechanics and much more!

The new Royale Pass Ace will be available from January 14 through March 16. Players can complete RP missions to increase their rank and receive rewards such as new colored outfits, an upgradeable melee weapon, the new Scooter finish, and more. The new season will also be running during this period, bringing with it new Legendary items including the C6S16 Goggles, C6S16 Set, C6S16 Mask, C5S14 Cover and C6S16 - M24.

To celebrate the New Year, players will replace some air drops with the Dragon's Blessing starting February 9. These will not only have a lightning effect when they spawn, but may also contain a special dragon gift. For Valentine's Day, there's a new and improved version of the beloved 2-seater bike as well as Easter eggs, themed locations for romantic photos and much more.
