With update 1.4, Once Human introduces the "Visional Wheel", a multidimensional mechanic that fundamentally changes the gameplay in certain scenarios. These so-called "Visional Scenarios" will be available from January 16 and offer unique rules that influence survival, combat and gameplay.

Visional Wheel: Cycle S0 - Lunar Oracle

The first cycle of the Visional Wheel is called "Lunar Oracle" and runs from January 16 to April 24. During this period, players are confronted with new challenges under the influence of a red moon. A special feature is the "Lunacy" mechanic, which causes players to lose mental stability outside their own base. Players can restore their stability by defeating enemies and receive additional rewards when their health is low.

In addition, special crates called "Oracle Crates" will appear in the settlements, containing exclusive recipes, skins and mods. These crates can be opened with collected "Lunar Whispers".

New equipment and mods

The update introduces numerous new weapons, armor pieces and mods. Highlights include:

• Weapons:

  • Critical Pulse: Creates lightning pulses during consecutive bursts of energy.

  • Primal Rage: Converts health points into ammunition.

  • Hazardous Object: An explosive pistol for maximum damage.

• Armor:

  • Overloaded Pants: Temporarily grants infinite ammo after multiple energy bursts.

  • Charmed Mag Top: Increases the chance of additional shots per shot.

  • Viper Mask: Extends the range and increases the damage of bombs.

New sets such as the "Treacherous Tides Set" offer special bonuses depending on the remaining mental stability.

Optimizations and balance adjustments

The update brings numerous balance improvements and bug fixes. Among other things, movement bonuses have been adjusted and new indicators for values such as sprint speed have been added. There are also adjustments to teleportation and improvements to social functions.

In the cosmetics area, character animations and appearances have been revised. Several new skins and furniture items are available in the store, including special Spring Festival packages.

Spring Festival event

The big Spring Festival event, which runs until February 23, will be launched alongside the update. Players can unlock numerous rewards such as cosmetic items and special recipes. Event highlights include weekly login bonuses, a parkour competition and a vehicle race.
