With the new update of Once Human, which will be released on November 21, the development team introduces the scenario login system 2.0. This update brings several new features designed to give players more flexibility and control over their participation in the various scenarios. The most important changes include the introduction of pre-registration, faction scenario registration and the new command registration.
One of the most important new features is the ability to pre-register for certain scenarios. Players can pre-register for the scenarios they wish to play. Pre-registration consists of two phases: the registration phase and the subsequent lock-in phase. As soon as the lock-in phase ends, the servers are started based on the number of registered players. These phases determine both the number of available servers and their opening times, which are displayed in the game menu.
Players have the option to join already started scenario servers directly if they do not want to wait for a new server round. The lock-in period, which covers the last 24 hours before the server opens, is particularly important, as canceling during this time will result in the pre-registered seat being lost.
When registering for faction scenarios, such as the Prismaverse Clash, players must choose a faction. If no decision is made, the system will automatically assign a faction. The opening of the servers depends on the balance of factions and the total number of registered players. If the number of participants is insufficient, the opening of the server can be postponed once. However, the scenario will then definitely be started.
Another interesting new feature is command registration. Players can invite friends to form a joint command and register as a team for a scenario. The registration status of all members is linked to that of the leader. This means that all commando members can play in the same scenario and, if applicable, in the same faction.
In order to better respond to player feedback, surveys will be published regularly within the game in future. These will help to collect player opinions and adapt scenarios accordingly. Scenarios that receive a low rating or meet with little interest can be temporarily taken offline. As soon as the adjustments have been completed, these scenarios will be published again.
What is the scenario submission system 2.0 in Once Human?
The scenario registration system 2.0 is a revision of the previous system for participating in scenarios. It offers new options such as pre-registration, faction scenario registration and the ability to register in command.
When will the update be released?
The update will be available on November 21st.
How does pre-registration work?
During pre-registration, players can register for scenarios in advance. The registration phase is followed by a lock-in phase, which determines which servers are opened and when.
What is command registration?
Command registration makes it possible to form a team with friends and register for a scenario together. All members then play on the same server.
What happens if a scenario has few participants?
Scenarios with few participants and poor ratings can be taken offline temporarily in order to optimize them and publish them again later.
