Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic future. Developed and published by Starry Studio, the game takes players into a world where humans, animals and plants are infested with an alien substance called stardust. Players take on the role of meta-humans who must not only survive against the adversities of nature and monstrous enemies, but also harness the power of stardust to survive and reshape the world.

The game begins with the player waking up in the middle of nowhere and having to face the cruelties of nature. The environment is contaminated not only by dangerous creatures, but also by stardust, which affects both the soil and the water. Consuming contaminated food and dirty water will affect the character's health, with a drop in health also reducing maximum health points. The constant question is: "To eat or not to eat?"

Battles against monsters: Players must fight numerous enemies that were once human and challenge bosses from other dimensions to obtain powerful items and alleviate stardust pollution. The battle is not only important for your own survival, but also for the survival of the rest of the survivors.

Weapon customization: A special feature of Once Human is the extensive customization of weapons. There are around 100 weapon blueprints, divided into seven categories, which can be collected and crafted. Each loot offers something new. Players can add different parts and perks to upgrade and customize their weapons as they see fit.

Territory Building: The Territory Core allows players to build their own home. There is the option to either choose a practical style and store everything you need in a small room or design a townhouse with a terrace, kitchen and garage. The special thing about this is that the area can be relocated at any time.

Find out the truth: Another key aspect of the game is exploring the truth about stardust. Players have to find out where it comes from and what it wants. On this quest, they will encounter different factions that can be either violent and hostile or friendly and helpful. Exploring human settlements allows you to learn their stories or destroy bosses without leaving a trace.
