The team behind Forge of Empires is preparing players for the release of versions 1.272 and 1.273, which is scheduled for January 04, 2024. There will be a short downtime during the update process, for which the team apologizes in advance.

Technical improvements and bug fixes

A core aspect of the update is the implementation of technical improvements and the correction of various bugs. This includes an adjustment in the trading area, where a function that automatically removes insufficient goods from a new offer has been corrected. Likewise, problems in the city rebuilding mode that occurred when applying designs, especially in connection with expired, restricted buildings, have been fixed. Additionally, the display of tooltips in the rewards window has been corrected to show correct, doubled amounts if the Blue Galaxy Boost is active.

App changes and event preparations

The team would like to point out that the mobile update will appear in the stores after the browser version. A visual issue with one event building, the Winter Wonderland Pyramid, has also been fixed. The defending army attack boost now correctly shows the guild expedition icon.

Outlook and feedback

Finally, the team gives an outlook on upcoming content. The game park event is currently still active in beta and will continue to be balanced.
