New update 1.286: Technical improvements and new content for events

On Wednesday, July 3, the browser game was updated to version 1.286. This update brings technical improvements, bug fixes and new content for future events. There was a short downtime during the update.

Community suggestions implemented

The update includes some changes suggested by the community:

  • FOE-81861: The search for items in the inventory now also includes the contents of selection kits, both in the browser and in the app.
  • FOE-81873: Events are now easier to find thanks to improved luminosity, similar to the app (browser only).
  • FOE-81893: The type of building and road requirements are now displayed in reconstruction mode (browser only).
  • FOE-82791: Multiple selection kits can now be used in succession to upgrade buildings (browser only).

Further improvements

A notable improvement concerns the Quantum Settlement:

  • FOE-82809: Roads in the Quantum Settlement no longer require Quantum Supplies. This change has been active since June 27.

Bug fixes

Several bugs have been fixed in various areas of the game:

  • Leaderboard: The Guild Profile button now shows the correct rank in the Guild Skirmish Championship (FOE-81982).
  • Buildings: The Heavy Garrison Mortar now provides the correct gems and trade coins (FOE-82617). In addition, the Exalted Golden Dragon Gong and the Exalted Zheng's Golden Bell can no longer be stored to reset the timer (FOE-82824).
  • Home page: Images in news posts are now always available (FOE-82754).
  • Events: Players now have access to all unlocked events (FOE-82769).
  • Login issues: Several bugs that prevented login have been fixed (FOE-82735, FOE-82793).

Changes for mobile devices

The release of the mobile update depends on the respective app stores and may occur a few days after the browser version:

  • FOE-82537: The bug that displayed video ads despite subscription has been fixed.
  • FOE-82889: Missing reward graphics for fragments have been added (fixed with version 1.285.20).

The update shows that work is continuing on the community's suggestions. Additionally, preparations for the sustainability event are underway based on player feedback, especially regarding the Global Challenge.
