Playing in the soccer event gives Forge of Empires a new sense of strategy and competition. You select your team and collect energy drinks to move the ball around the field and pass from player to player. Every pass is important. A short pass uses less energy drinks, but a long one reaches its destination faster. So speed and stamina must be considered in every move! Soccer can be exhausting. That's why teams need energy drinks to stay fit. You can get the drinks by completing Coach Miller's tasks.

The team selection plays an important role. During the event, player cards are collected to provide some selection. Each new player card either unlocks a new player or raises the level of a player already on the squad. The better the soccer skills, the more rewards you can unlock while participating in the event. During training, you can unlock a random prize of a selected player through team passes and have a chance to win the prize of the day. Those who manage to cross the field and score a goal will receive the Grand Prize.

Players of Forge of Empires can also participate in the soccer tournament this season. To participate, only three tickets are needed, which can be collected by completing Coach Miller's tasks or by waiting patiently, as a ticket is automatically generated every eight hours. The difficulty level of the game (easy, medium or hard) can be selected before kickoff. Afterwards, captains can choose a lineup that suits their opponent. The soccer stars have their preferred positions, so choosing the right soccer players in the right position can make the difference between winning and losing.

The Grand Prize of the event is the Windmill Farm. There are also enhancements to be won for four exclusive Football Championship achievements and seven new exclusive event portraits.
