Archaeology event starts soon in Forge of Empires
04/28/2022 - Between May 2 and May 22, all players can explore an ancient tomb. Using brushes, spades or explosives, players can work their way through the layers of sand to find statues of gods, useful tools, vases and gems. Deeper down, side quests open up around ancient clay tablets. These contain forgotten knowledge that must be shared with the world.
Participating in the Archaeology event and collecting gold figures at the dig site will reward players with a unique prize: the beautiful Butterfly Sanctuary Set. The Butterfly Sanctuary is an upgradable building that can be embellished with six garden buildings, including the Marigold Bed, Wildflower Meadow and Sapphire Arch. To get the most out of the Butterfly House, you can erect buildings next to it, all of which bring additional bonuses. Players can choose to go for stock or coin boosts, attack or defense enhancements, or Forge points or goods here.
New players can also earn the top prizes from past Archaeology events: The Ferris Wheel and Airship are available as part of the daily rewards, so it`s the perfect opportunity to secure even more benefits to your growing kingdom. There are also new avatars to unlock and, as with the Ferris Wheel and Airship, hard-to-reach characters from previous events to play for.
In addition, 21 gems were still on finders keepers, and each day of the event a new one will be hidden somewhere in the tomb. Those who reach May 22 with a complete gem collection will receive a bonus, so daily registrations are advisable. But even those who miss a day need not grieve: gem shards can be collected and replace missing daily rewards.
This event also brings something less familiar: several mini-games and quests can be pursued simultaneously. This opens up a new level of complexity in an ever-popular game, and true fans of Forge of Empires should find many new challenges in this tomb!
