Festival of the Lost is back!
10/18/2022 - Today, the free Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost event returns and is available until November 8. In keeping with tradition, players don creepy (and silly!) masks and collect goodies by completing challenges in Haunted Sectors throughout the system.
This year's goodies include the new Legendary Sniper Rifle " Gray Tech," the community-selected Mech Armor Ornament Set, and additional cosmetics. These goodies can be unlocked with the "Festival of the Lost" event card.
Event Card Rewards
The new "Festival of the Lost" event card includes challenges as well as free and high-value rewards for all players. Similar to last season's Solstice event, players can use the event card to unlock new cosmetic items such as a new gesture, ship, Exotic Spirit shell, and more.
Haunted Sectors
A new addition this year is the Haunted Sector in the ETZ, where the gruesome cabal lurk and want to prevent you from getting your goodies. Keepers can try out the terrifying Haunted Sector playlist, where players face the headless in new and returning Haunted Sectors.
Mech Armor Ornaments
Last year, the community voted on their "Festival of the Lost" costumes for the first time, and now #TeamMech has been chosen again. Starting now, players can purchase their mech armor in the Everversum store for shiny dust or silver to move through the system in style.
Bungie Rewards
The Headless T-shirt is available in the Bungie Store for Keepers who complete the Bookworm I Triumph by unlocking a third of the pages in the Book of the Forgotten during the Festival of the Lost event. In addition, the Ghost Hunter Medallion collectible pin will be available for pre-order on the Bungie Store for players who complete the new in-game seal and associated title. The rewards can be unlocked until the end of the event on November 8. While players enjoy their sweets and treats during the Festival of the Lost, the treasure hunt continues in the Season of Scavengers , which runs through December 6.
