From May 31 to June 2, 2024, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will host one of the most traditional gaming festivals in North America: DreamHack Dallas. Organized by the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), the event promises a variety of video game-related activities and competitions. With a total of 13 esports tournaments and prize money of over 1 million US dollars, the festival attracts both professional gamers and up-and-coming talent.
In addition to the world-famous LAN party, DreamHack Dallas offers a wide range of entertainment options. DreamHack Fighters offers fighting game fans six open tournaments, including classics like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and new titles like Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. For the first time, there will also be competitions for Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6, which will also be competing for qualification for the Esports World Cup and prize money of 50,000 US dollars each.
