Gaijin Jam takes place in March

02/19/2022 - Gaijin Entertainment announces that the Gaijin Jam #2 "daScript" international competition will take place March 1-31. Participants will create games using daScript, Gaijin's powerful open-source scripting language. The event will take place online and is open to everyone.
The Gaijin Jam is a series of hackathons where developers make game prototypes alone or with a team of friends. The best work is rewarded with cash prizes. Winners are selected by prominent game developers, Gaijin staff, and Jam participants. Gaijin Jam #2 has an important additional condition: games may only be made using daScript and dasbox (daScript applications runtime environment), while all other languages, engines and frameworks are not allowed.
"Scripting languages are essential to achieve high productivity in game development," explains Anton Yudintsev, co-founder of Gaijin Entertainment. "The daScript language is easy to learn, enables high performance and productivity, and is accessible to everyone."
